Oil on linen

Hiking up Mueller Canyon gave a great view of the broken up water reflecting the sun down below, and backlit the brush and trees creating nice blue green shadows with soft, warm effects poking thru. A bit of a breeze and it was easy to decide that it was the right spot.

This was painted for the Bountiful Davis Plein Air competition, and received first prize!
