Oil on linen

This was the first time I tested my bike-camp-paint-bike outing. Fully loaded down, I slowly made my way up to Brighton one evening last fall, fell asleep under a ski lift in the rain, and made my way up to Lake Mary the next morning. I only managed a quick outline, moving clouds and early morning light making too much of a challenge, but I took in the stillness of the lake and colors of the cliffs for later.
